Look Optometry

The invention of glasses started in the 13th Century and continues to be in use in present times. Although functionally, they are the same, the look and aesthetics have drastically changed over time. Originally used to help with vision impairment, have also become a staple fashion item. They can also represent intelligence, hard-working, and diligence.

Look Optometry & Eyewear is a premium eye care and optometry clinic that focuses on the importance of the well-being of patients. Through eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses, Look Optometry has an array of options to help clients find what they are looking for. They are up-to-date with technology and practices to help and educate their patients, while still being rooted in traditional and classic practices.

The Brief

Look Optometry reached out to The Branded Agency to help redesign and rebrand their brand identity at the time. They asked us to create a premium, and minimal logo and brand that reflects their brand values and practices. We took a professional and clean approach to their logo and brand, using deep colours and neutral tones, accompanied with white space and a friendly brandmark.

Logo Redesign

We took inspiration from the original logo, and helped clean it up by creating more white space by removing the bars and adding leading to the typeface. The brandmark appears more friendly with rounded frames with more white space within the frames. The Look Optometry logo has more room to breathe, and appears more professional and clean with thinner lines as well.

Website Design

The redesigned brand identity extends to their website design as well, adding more white/negative space, as well as incorporating the new colour palette, iconography, and photography. The website is easier to navigate and read, and appears as an extension to their brand identity.

Brand Guidelines

The Brand Guidelines helps organize and solidify the brand identity through pages of logo guidelines, colour palette, typography, photography, and more. The guideline is also an extension of the brand identity and was designed with the tone and brand values in mind.
